How it works
Step by step, from your first briefing to the water.

Theory in a small group
The basics in the morning with the SSI app: how pressure, breathing and gear behave underwater. Compact and focused on what matters.

Skills in Tanote Bay
In shallow water you practise the key skills with your instructor until they feel natural.

2 open-water dives
You dive down to 12 m, closely guided, putting it all into practice in real water. Time to enjoy the reef.

SSI certification
At the end you get your digital SSI Scuba Diver card, valid worldwide, to dive to 12 m with a certified guide.
What to expect
You feel the step up from a discovery dive: a little more independence, a little more understanding of what you are doing. You dive more relaxed because you know how your gear works. And you walk away with a real diving card.

Requirements

Your certification
You earn the internationally recognised SSI Scuba Diver certification. It lets you dive to 12 m with a certified guide, anywhere in the world. You can upgrade to the full Open Water later at any time, and your Scuba Diver dives count towards it.
Good to know
What's the difference with the Open Water?
The Scuba Diver is shorter (2 days vs 3-4), goes to 12 m instead of 18 m and requires a guide by your side. The Open Water makes you more independent down to 18 m.
Can I upgrade to Open Water later?
Yes. Your Scuba Diver dives are credited, so you only complete the missing part up to the full Open Water.
Do I need to swim well?
You need basic swimming ability and to be comfortable in the water. No athletic performance required.
Is everything included in the price?
Yes: theory, full equipment, the guided dives, insurance and the SSI certification are all included. Payment is made on site.
