Scuba Refresh
Got your certification but your last dive was a while ago? Half a day to get your confidence back before heading out.
How it works
Step by step, from your first briefing to the water.
- 1
Refresh the theory
We go over the key points together: safety, equipment, dive planning. Calmly, with no exam.
- 2
Skills in shallow water
You go back over the key skills (mask, regulator, buoyancy) in shallow water until they feel natural again.
- 3
Dive in the bay
You do a relaxed dive in Tanote Bay to fully get your confidence back.
What to expect
You don't forget how to dive, but after a break the first time often feels wobbly. Half a day is enough to get the moves back into your hands, with no stress and at your own pace. Afterwards you're ready to join a normal dive again.
What's included
- Half-day refresher
- Theory and skills review
- Shallow water then sea
- Equipment included
Good to know
Does my certification expire?
No, a certification never expires. The Refresh is a top-up, not a new certification, just to get back in safely.
When is a refresh worth it?
A good rule of thumb: if your last dive was more than 6 to 12 months ago, or if you feel unsure.
Is it really only half a day?
Yes, half a day is usually enough. If you need more time, we take it, with no surprise extra charge.
Do I need anything else afterwards?
No, you can join our fun dives straight away. If you fancy progressing, the Advanced Adventurer is the next step.
What's next?
The next logical step on your path.
